A brand is a name, sign, symbol, or combination of them to be used as the identity of a product, organization or in the goods and services that a company has to distinguish from other service products so that they are easily recognizable.

Each product can be easily copied by other players in a market, but a brand will always be unique on its own.

With the existence of a brand, can make one product with another is different, and also is expected to be able to facilitate consumers in determining the items they want to consume based on various considerations of a brand (brand loyalty).

Trademark

Used on goods traded by a person or several people jointly or a legal entity to distinguish from other similar items.

Service mark

Traded by a person or several people jointly or a legal entity to distinguish from other similar services.

Collective brand

With the same characteristics that are traded by several people or legal entities together to distinguish from goods and / or other similar services that used on goods and/or services.
